For author Frank Verano, a book on humor is something like an encyclopedia, which one can use to escape everyday worries through laughter. It is also more economical than hiring a comedian to make people laugh. Hoping to lift readers’ spirits with the powerful benefits of laughter, Verano tickles the funny bone with All Kinds of Humor.
Most people cannot dream up anything funny on their own. They often need a humor source to tap in when required to make speeches or break the ice in a variety of occasions. In All Kinds of Humor, readers will find over forty categories of jokes, puns, and other kinds of humor right at their fingertips. Akin to an encyclopedia on humor, opening the book to random pages will bring the reader to different categories filled with fun surprises. Its use is not only limited to personal amusement; it also provides entertainment for all occasions.
Filled with rib-tickling and laugh-out-loud moments, All Kinds of Humor is a treasure trove of jokes, quips, and other funny stuff that can be utilized for any event. Thoroughly entertaining from beginning to end, readers can expect hearty laughter all around when they share this fun book with others.

About the Author
The son of an immigrant from Italy, Frank Verano joined the Navy in 1940 so as to not get drafted. World War II was already raging in Europe. Ironically, this enabled him to witness a significant event in American History—the devastating attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Upon discharge in 1946, he entered college at MIT, a top technical school in the country. From thereon, his engineering career took him from teaching at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, lecturing at USC and working in the computer and programming industry. Most of his work took him into the defense industry. Now in retirement, the author is doing what he likes best: play music and write.
