“If you've recently relocated or you’re just interested in joining a new social club that supports your hobby, we’re the place you should be looking!”

Social Club Hub, a one-of-a-kind new website, aims to connect individuals and social clubs across America. The goal of this initiative is to create a platform where like-minded people can get together, make friends and take part in the activities they enjoy.
“Whether you’re looking for a running club in Wisconsin or a book club in New York, you will be able to find a club that matches your interests on SocialClubHub.com,” says Gary Sonnett, Social Club Hub President.
One of the things that make Social Club Hub different from other online sites is that it’s not a dating site. Members include singles, couples, divorcees, widowers and empty nesters.
“If you've recently relocated or you’re just interested in joining a new social club that supports your hobby, we’re the place you should be looking,” explains Gary.
Some of the clubs that have already signed up include sports clubs, bike clubs, running clubs, skiing clubs, fishing clubs, book clubs, travel clubs, civic groups as well as a range of other hobby groups.
Gary Sonnett says that one of the benefits of becoming a ‘Hub’ member is that individuals receive savings on products and services through the Social Club Hub network of merchants.
“Depending on the kind of group, members could potentially receive savings on concert tickets, sporting equipment, restaurant deals and more. Signing up to become a member at Social Club Hub is free, so it’s a win-win for members,” notes Gary Sonnett.
All clubs are screened by a local Social Club Hub Advisory Board. “We want members to feel comfortable and we also want to ensure we’re creating a safe environment for people to browse clubs and join activity groups. All clubs must meet the standards set by the Social Club Hub Advisory Board,” Gary explains.
If individuals are interested in joining a group, they can visit a club as a guest (subject to the rules of each individual club). There are also online message boards where activities are listed, so it’s easy to browse activities and click the “attend” button on a group’s events page. The club leader will then be expecting the guest at the specific event and they will be available to discuss membership.
“In today’s day and age, it makes sense to find sports, social and special interest clubs in your area online. We are pleased with the response we’ve received thus far and we’re looking forward to growing Social Club Hub in 2013,” concludes Gary Sonnett, Social Club Hub President.
