“Launching an online store with Shopatron means we can provide both shopping options, enabling shoppers to obtain our great products when and how they want to.”

Twistfree, the maker of innovative organizers that keep cords and hoses from tangling, has selected Shopatron, the world’s #1 retail-integrated eCommerce solution, to launch an online store that will support its valued retailer network.

Twistfree was founded by television veteran Ron Richardson, who patented a better way to coil cables based on his industry experience. The company manufactures Roadee organizers, brilliantly engineered devices that eliminate knots and tangles in cords, cables, and hoses. The product works so well it won a 2012 Good Design Award for Household Products.

With the launch of its online store, powered by Shopatron, Twistfree can sell directly to customers online and include its retailers in the sales process. This is made possible by Shopatron’s patent-pending order management solution, which enables branded manufacturers to take orders through their website, then pass those orders to local shops for delivery to the customer.

By including local retailers in online sales, Twistfree ensures that its customers receive the best shopping experience and fastest shipping times, while also increasing brand loyalty. And dealers who receive sales through Twistfree’s branded website are encouraged to stock more Twistfree products.

“Twistfree products belong in stores—they are inexpensive, lightweight, and easy-to-display impulse-buy items—but consumers today often like to shop from the comfort of their home or office,” said Richardson, inventor and owner of Twistfree. “Launching an online store with Shopatron means we can provide both shopping options, enabling shoppers to obtain our great products when and how they want to.”

The Shopatron Order Exchange already includes approximately 20 hardware and tool brands that partner with more than 400 hardware dealers to fulfill orders. In 2012, those brands saw a 14% year-over-year increase in same-store sales versus 2011.
