The Massachusetts Medical Marijuana Dispensers' Association, Inc., will be providing a hands on lecture for potential medical dispensaries, caregivers and patients at the Brookline Public Library from 1-3:30 p.m. on January 18, 2013.

The Massachusetts Medical Marijuana Dispensers’ Association, Inc. has announced its first meeting, to be held at The Brookline Public Library, at 361 Washington Street in Brookline, Massachusetts, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Visit http://www.baystatecannabisgrowers.com for further information.

The Association will be speaking about the information required to apply to become a licensed dispensary, some of the 60 plus forms that will be necessary for compliance, and some of the tips and traps that await new dispensaries including banking issues, IRS issues, zoning regulations, and becoming federally compliant. Information will also be provided for caregivers and patients looking to gain enrollment cards.

Speakers will include lawyers, enrolled agents from the Internal Revenue Service, and law enforcement. It is the goal of the MMMDA to teach its members including dispensaries, caregivers and patients how to comfortably stay in compliance with the current law and the regulations being written.
