About the Author
Ann S. Wright was born during the depression in Gibsonville, North Carolina. She loved reading and story-telling all her life and was known as the class “story-teller”. Wright is a BA graduate from Elon University, Elon, NC and received her master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia.

She taught school for 28 years. During this time while her husband was a pastor, she was also active in church work. The two volunteered for the Foreign Mission Board in several countries. Living a full and interesting life gave the author many ideas for her “story-telling.”

Currently residing in Danville, Virginia, Wright is a well-known teacher, tap dancer, public speaker, musician, and artist. She has been featured in television interviews and the local newspaper. Ann S. Wright is the wife of Reverend Thomas E. Wright of Danville, Virginia. She is the mother of four sons, eight grandsons, and two great granddaughters and one great grandson.
