Xlibris, the print-on-demand self-publishing services provider, announced today the release of What Happened Next. Authored by Raymond Doherty, this book is a perfect addition to everyone’s bookshelf.

What Happened Next springs from a real situation that will forever strike a chord in the author’s mind. It is like a drama unfolding without knowing the next thing to happen. Here, Raymond shares that unforgettable experience when their house caught fire and his dad suffered smoke inhalation, which triggered a chest problem and a heart attack that killed him. He further takes readers to the occurrences after the tragic event where they found themselves homeless and fought against stupidity of the social services until his mother died from Alzheimer’s. This book also discusses few important issues which still require a judicial enquiry. Near the end of this book, Raymond informs readers of his interest in politics, but the most important part of the book is a truthful account of all the important areas—the history of the mysterious disease, Alzheimer’s.

Through What Happened Next, readers will know what transpired during and beyond the major fire in the author’s house that will never be forgotten. And the author is also grateful for the brave young man, Mickey, and his wife, Iona, who helped them during the incident—they are the couple who had a neighbourly, friendly quality to people living nearby and went beyond human limits.
