As one of the first major trade associations to affiliate with Fixxbook, we’re excited about the exposure it will bring to our members
Greensboro, NC (PRWEB) January 15, 2013
The Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) has announced that they have chosen Fixxbook Private Network software to manage their association membership. With FixxbookPN, CFESA will not only manage internal membership documentation, but also eventually catalog all training certifications for every technician and create a national visibility platform for ServiceChannel clients needing installation, repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment.
“As one of the first major trade associations to affiliate with Fixxbook, we’re excited about the exposure it will bring to our members,” said Carla Strickland, Executive Director of CFESA. “In addition, the use of their software will allow us to manage all of our membership services on-line thereby enabling us to provide excellent customer service to our members.”
The Fixxbook Private Network software will allow CFESA’s members to store and share all necessary business documents such as Service Level Agreements, Terms and Conditions, and Non-Disclosure forms. The software continues to bring value to CFESA contractors with specialty trained employees through a feature called “Tradesmen” which allows for the credentialing of individual technicians to be displayed on the profile of their employer.
“It’s the Tradesmen component that will bring real value to the CFESA community,” explained Eric Schechter, President of Fixxbook. “Being able to catalog the certifications, licenses and credentials of every technician opens up fantastic opportunities for everyone involved. Any CFESA contractor who knows the value of employee training can easily display the credentials of their staff, giving them a competitive edge to facilities managers looking to hire, all without compromising the privacy of their technicians.”
This relationship is truly a win-win for CFESA’s contractors and facilities managers searching for contractors on Fixxbook. Here’s how:
Fixxbook: Through the partnership, Fixxbook allows the association to legitimize all contractors who claim to be part of their organization as well as invite all of their members who are not yet on Fixxbook to join their network. This means that more contractors will be listed on Fixxbook and that all who claim to be part of a partnering association are legitimate.
Facilities Managers: Facilities managers looking to hire that a contractor through Fixxbook can be guaranteed that any contractor with a partnering association’s badge is a verified member.
CFESA Contractors: Once a contractor’s association becomes a Fixxbook partner, all potential employers can see through their profile badge that they are a verified association member. Their profile will now stick out in front of the contractors in their area who are not members as association members carry a reputation of quality work.
Trade Associations: The main positive for any trade association partnering with Fixxbook, other then getting their contractors more work, is potential new member recruitment.
