The Gravenstein Apple & Clove Soap Bar pays homage to Sonoma County's most iconic apple... it's a favorite of those who love the area.

Sonoma County based Soap Cauldron™ (http://www.soapcauldron.com), home of the Three Sisters Apothecary™ line of all natural, artisan bar soaps and skin care, had its Gravenstein Apple & Clove; Rosemary & Mint; Lemongrass; and French Lavender soap bars included in celebrity swag bags at GBK’s Luxury Gift Lounge in Honor of the 2013 Golden Globes Nominees and Presenters, which took place January 11-12, 2013 at the L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The Artisan Group swag bags were hand delivered to Nicole Kidman and Kerry Washington in their hotel rooms and picked up by Janina Gavankar, Kate Flannery, Archie Punjabi, R.J. Mitte, Jeff Daniels and many others at The Artisan Group exhibit.

Emma Mann, soap artisan and founder of Soap Cauldron and Three Sisters Apothecary, chose three of the company’s most popular flavors for the Golden Globes celebrity gift bag, and also included one special bar that is unique to Sonoma County.

The Gravenstein Apple & Clove Soap Bar pays homage to Sonoma County’s most iconic apple, the Gravenstein. Sweet and tart, this apple once helped drive Sonoma’s economy. “This bar is a sentimental reminder of the County’s pre-vineyard days and is a favorite of those who love the area—and these iconic apples,” reflected Mann.

All four of the gifted soaps were beautifully packaged in a sustainable box set nestled in a hand silk screened muslin bag. The packaging reflects the company’s philosophy, which is to empower consumers, with a choice of bath and skin care that is truly natural, functional and beautiful.

Three Sisters Apothecary bar soaps are handcrafted in small batches in the centuries-old tradition of soap-making with gourmet oils, butters, essential oils and botanicals. The soaps cleanse and nurture the skin while deeply moisturizing with the glycerin created during the soap making process. The company selects organic ingredients whenever possible and has obtained cruelty free status from leapingbunny.org.

In conjunction with the Golden Globes gifting, Three Sisters Apothecary is celebrating its six month anniversary as the branded line of Sonoma County based Soap Cauldron, founded in 1999. The Three Sisters Apothecary line was founded by Emma Mann after the unexpected death of one of her two sisters. The company is named in honor of the three Yniguez sisters and marks the expansion of Soap Cauldron as its own unique brand.

“I realized with the passing of my sister that I could spend the rest of my life not following my passion and playing it safe or I could take the leap and believe in myself,” remarked Mann. “I knew that the time to act was now as the one thing my sister no longer had was time.”

In addition to its participation in The Golden Globes Gift Lounge, Three Sisters Apothecary natural soap bars will be included in a collaborative gift bag being put together by The Artisan Group in honor of 2013 Earth Day. The gift bag will go to eco-conscious celebrities including Hayden Panettiere, Ginnifer Goodwin, Edward Norton, Adrian Grenier and many others.

Three Sisters Apothecary products are available online at http://www.soapcauldron.com and at retail locations across California, as listed on the company's website.
