The Outer Banks, and Hatteras in particular, truly offers the perfect setting for a wedding to remember.
Hatteras, NC (PRWEB) January 14, 2013
The 2013 Outer Banks wedding season has just begun, and from January 19-20 top OBX wedding planners, venues, and vendors will descend upon Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, for the year’s first wedding show. Affairs at Austin Creek, the newest Hatteras Island wedding venue, is pleased to take part in the Outer Banks Wedding Expo Weekend, hosted by the Outer Banks Wedding Association.
The Outer Banks Wedding Expo will follow a new two-day schedule this year, allowing attendees to spend more time with vendors. The two-day Expo will take place at the Kill Devil Hills Middle School and High School on January 19 and 20. Brides will be able to get a first look at the 160 participating wedding vendors on Saturday from 11am to 2pm and return Sunday from 10am to 4pm for the full wedding expo experience.
“We couldn’t be more excited to take part in this year’s Wedding Expo. We’re excited to meet a great group of brides and share the beauty of Affairs at Austin Creek,” said Kelly Gibbs with Affairs at Austin Creek. “The Outer Banks, and Hatteras in particular, truly offers the perfect setting for a wedding to remember.”
In the most anticipated part of the Outer Banks Wedding Expo, one lucky bride will win a 2013 Dream Wedding package, which includes everything from a rehearsal dinner to a ceremony on the beach and a full reception. Dozens of Outer Banks wedding vendors have donated services to make this wedding package special. The lucky couple that wins will enjoy a beautiful rehearsal dinner at Affairs at Austin Creek in Hatteras Village. The 2013 Dream Wedding Package winner will be announced on Sunday, Jan 20th at 3:45pm. Other prizes and giveaways will be announced throughout the weekend.
Affairs at Austin Creek will also be part of the “Day at the Beach” Wedding Tour on January 19th from 9am to 5pm. Affairs at Austin Creek, along with many other wedding venues, will have their doors open to showcase their ceremony and reception sites, allowing brides to meet the staff and view the venue in-person.
Advanced tickets to the Wedding Expo are available for $20 until January 14. Additional tickets will be sold for $25 at the Wedding Welcome Center on Friday, January 18th or at the door of the Expo. The Outer Banks Wedding Association anticipates more than 1,000 attendees, and they welcome all futures brides, friends, family, and even grooms to attend this special wedding weekend.
