New Star Lands Role on CBS Drama The Mentalist

Canadian actor Adam Tsekhman will make his debut on the CBS Drama The Mentalist on January 20th.

Canadian actor Adam Tsekhman will star on the CBS drama The Mentalist. The crime drama stars Simon Baker, who uses skills from his former career as a successful psychic medium to help a team of CBI agents solve various crimes.

“It is an honor to work on this superb show. The cast and crew are extremely talented and I am happy to be a part of it”, exclaimed Tsekhman.

Tsekhman also plays the lead role in the new television comedy, Comrades that he co-wrote. It will make its debut in 2013. This string of achievement comes after a role in the season premiere of How I Met Your Mother (CBS) with Jason Segal and Neil Patrick Harris, and the season finale of NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS). Previously, Tsekhman played the lead role in the feature film Piece of Mind, as well as guest starring roles in Flash Forward (ABC) with Joseph Fiennes, and on the series finale of 24 (Fox) starring Kiefer Sutherland.

Adam Tsekhman is a native of Winnipeg, Canada. Tsekhman obtained an undergraduate finance degree from the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He then changed course and decided to pursue acting. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Acting from Columbia University in New York City. The Mentalist will air on January 20th.
