Managers at Conservatory Outlet have begun the New Year by undertaking a ‘Management Development Programme’ as the West Yorkshire fabricator remains committed to achieving and Investors in People Gold Award by ensuring its workforce benefit from continued career development and support.
The course aims to help organisations such as Conservatory Outlet; who specialise in supplying conservatories, double glazing and doors nationwide, to further improve performance and realise objectives through the management and development of their people.
The Wakefield-based firm is extremely keen to achieve Investors in People Gold status in 2013. The company believes that investing the time of its staff into this worthwhile initiative will enable team members to advance in their individual roles and bring them a step closer to achieving their collective goal.
A total of seven managers from different departments within the Wakefield-based firm have been enrolled on the course including those from: Production, I.T., Marketing, Purchasing, Transport, Customer Services and Estimating and Processing Weekly sessions will run from January to March 2013 covering the following topic areas: ‘Planning for Performance’, ‘Working as One Team’, ‘Leading our Team’, ‘Creating Golden People’ and the ‘Art of Communications’.
One participant in the programme has already reaped the rewards of on-going staff development at Conservatory Outlet.
Phil Wilson has recently been upgraded to the role of I.T. Manager after previously holding the post of Assistant I.T. Manager and several other positions within the firm over the past four years.
