Dr. Jeff Life, Senior Partner Cenegenics Elite Health Las Vegas: Mastering Life

The whole key is to get to a level of fitness and health, then keep it going. That's the deal breaker. So I’ve created strategies in my soon-to-be-released book, ‘Mastering the Life Plan,’ to help men stay the course.

Dr. Jeffry S. Life, Cenegenics Senior Physician Partner and NY Times bestselling author, completed his second book for men—”Mastering the Life Plan: The Essential Steps to Achieving Great Health and a Leaner, Stronger, and Sexier Body,” which will be published by Simon & Schuster and released in February, announced Cenegenics, the global leader and recognized leading authority in age management medicine.

Tagged by Men’s Fitness magazine as the “age-defier” and listed in their 2012’s top 25 fittest guys in the world, 74-year-old Life released his first book in 2011 which became an enormous success, “The Life Plan”—a step-by-step program grounded on the Cenegenics Elite Health’s proactive approach and mirroring the regimen Life used to achieve new levels of fitness, leaving behind his old self: pre-diabetic, pot-bellied, lowered libido, fatigued, sluggish thinking. His new book, Mastering the Life Plan, delivers a simple format to help men move to the next step or jumpstart their personal journey to better health.

“The whole key is to get to a level of fitness and health, then keep it going. And that’s the deal breaker because most people find that hard to do. What ends up happening is they celebrate their achievements and stop there, then wind up going back to their old ways. So I’ve created strategies in my soon-to-be-released book, ‘Mastering the Life Plan,’ to help men stay the course,” Life said.

The trick, per Life, is to know when you’re off track and how to get back on as quickly as you can.

“Men have to learn how to make their healthy lifestyle program as enjoyable as possible and something they want to look forward to doing—from cardio to stretching and resistance training—and make it part of their daily life. If men don’t learn how to eat and exercise right as well as correct hormone deficiencies, an easy thing to do, they are missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime to create the perfect environment inside their bodies,” Life said.

According to Life, that’s why his new book goes beyond the initial “Life Plan,” incorporating new exercises, new meal plans, an expanded food guide and the latest information on hormone optimization to give men a deeper understanding of therapies, controversies, myths and realities.
