Following an article about the best places in Manhattan for vegetarians to eat, Yumi Media offered their comments.

On January 16, 2013, Yumi Media commented on a Business Insider article by Melissa Stanger, regarding the eight best vegetarian restaurants in Manhattan.

According to the Business Insider article, “Vegetarians may get knocked for turning up their noses to steak and bacon, but they know that you don't need meat to make a great meal.” The article states that there is a large population of vegetarians in New York, so naturally, some of the best vegetarian restaurants are found in New York City.

The article names the top vegetarian restaurants as Caravan of Dreams, Candle Cafe, Candle 79, HanGawi, Pure Food & Wine, Dirt Candy, Taim, and Kajitsu. The article states that some of the restaurants, like Caravan of Dreams, have a list of lover performances for entertainment. The article also mentions that almost all of the restaurants serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and some of them even brunch.

The article describes the number one vegetarian restaurant in Manhattan, Kajitsu, by stating that, “The delicate, almost deconstructed-looking Japanese fare is as Zen as the dining experience, and diners praise the phenomenal customer service.”

Yumi Media applauded all of the restaurants for offering a variety of delicious vegetarian menus and great service to the vegetarian community. “It is great to see a good number of restaurants catering fully to the vegetarian lifestyle, and I think it shows how far the vegetarian movement has come over the years,” says Yumi Media representative Takara Licausi. “For a vegetarian meal at home, I would recommend vegetarian try Quorn food products.”
