Cruise approaching sellout with two months to go until setting sail for Caribbean
Cruise to the Edge, a five-night cruise (March 25-30, 2013) featuring Yes, Steve Hackett: Genesis Revisited, Tangerine Dream and other progressive rock legends, is pleased to announce its final addition to the performance lineup: Joel Hoekstra.
Hoekstra (joelhoekstra.com) is icing on the cake for the most anticipated prog event in decades. The lead guitarist for Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Night Ranger and the Tony Award-winning Rock of Ages, Hoekstra is bringing his eclectic music styles aboard Cruise To The Edge, performing material from his solo albums and various group projects. Joining Hoekstra on the Cruise to the Edge stage are veteran players Eric Levy (keyboards), Virgil Donati (drums) and Ric Fierabracci (bass).
With only two months left until setting sail for the Caribbean, Cruise to the Edge already is 80 percent sold and trending toward a sellout. En route to the tropical rain forests of Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and the pristine waters of Georgetown, Grand Cayman, guests on this one-of-a-kind floating prog-rock festival will experience non-stop music performed by 12 different artists on multiple stages aboard the MSC Poesia.
Also scheduled to perform on Cruise to the Edge are:
Steve Hackett: Genesis Revisited
Carl Palmer's ELP Legacy
