Servio, a leading provider of digital content and data solutions, today announced the addition to its executive team of Kenneth Berland and Colin Roche.
Mr. Berland joins as the Vice President of Engineering. He was previously Vice President of Engineering at Reputation.com, where he led software development and operations during a period of exponential growth in the company’s user base. Prior to that, he developed Web-based tools for searching unstructured legal data as Lead Engineer for Hero.com. “Our engineering team comprises some of the most talented people in the industry,” said Servio’s co-founder, Jordan Ritter. “As I leave after four years of exciting accomplishments, I’m pleased to leave the team in Ken’s capable hands and have no doubt that his leadership will continue a strong culture of excellence.”
Mr. Roche, who joins Servio as Vice President of Business Development, comes to Servio from Jaiwei Corp, a major manufacturer of solar and LED lighting technology, where he was Vice President of Global Sales. He previously founded and led Pacific Writing Instruments, which created a groundbreaking line of ergonomic writing instruments called PenAgain. He has been featured on CNBC, ABC, Fox News, Newsweek, and Wired for both his innovative branding campaigns and successful business development work, which ultimately built an international retailer network of over 25,000 companies. Mr. Roche will focus on opening new markets for Servio’s services.
“Servio plans to triple revenue in 2013, and Colin and Ken will be key parts of that,” said Servio’s CEO, Alex Edelstein. “We are excited to start the New Year with one of the industry’s best leadership teams in place and look forward to building upon last year’s outstanding growth.”
