Kiwanis International

Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based manufacturer of commercial playground equipment for schools and parks, announced that it has become a vision partner of Kiwanis International, a global organization of members of every age who are dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis family and Landscape Structures will work together to bring play and playgrounds to communities throughout the world.

As part of the partnership, Landscape Structures will be the key partner in Kiwanis International’s signature day of service—Kiwanis One Day. During this event, Kiwanis members from around the globe unite to complete hands-on community service projects during the first weekend in April. The 2013 Kiwanis One Day is scheduled for April 6, during which many Kiwanis clubs participate in playground projects in their communities.

“Kiwanis clubs are helping enrich communities by taking on the planning, fundraising and installation of playgrounds as service projects,” said Pam Norman, director of corporate partnerships at Kiwanis International. “Playgrounds make a huge difference in the lives of children, and we as Kiwanis members are proud to partner with Landscape Structures to be the catalyst for community growth.”

“We are proud to partner with Kiwanis International, and support the service work its members do to improve communities,” said Pat Faust, president of Landscape Structures. “We believe that playgrounds help kids of all abilities develop their bodies and minds; the lessons they learn on the playground will be with them for the rest of their lives. Our partnership, and the physical work of Kiwanis members, will benefit many children and families while providing generations of fun.”
