P4RC, Inc. announced today that it has expanded its executive leadership team with the addition of Kevin Dent, formerly of Tiswaz Entertainment and IGDA, as Chief Operating Officer. The company also announced that effective immediately, both Jeffrey Lapin, former Chief Executive Officer of Atari and veteran of Take-Two Interactive Software and THQ, and Michael Pachter, Wedbush Securities’ gaming analyst, have joined the company’s Board of Directors.
“With the addition of such an amazing group of game industry thought leaders to our team, we have firmly cemented ourselves as the go-to provider for user engagement in mobile games,” said Jason Seldon, Founder and CEO of P4RC. “Over the next year, we plan to establish ourselves as a fundamental component of the app ecosystem. Just as users expect to see leaderboards and achievements in games, they will expect to be rewarded for gaming success by a platform such as P4RC.”
"I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the team at P4RC and helping them engage gamers in a real life way,” said Kevin Dent, P4RC’s new COO. “I have been extremely lucky over the last four years to be offered positions with many firms, and a lot of them were great organizations. That said, P4RC was the first firm to offer gamers a solution that I could get behind in a real way. My passion is for gamers, developers and giving back to an industry that I am proud to be part of. With P4RC, I am joining a firm with a solution that rewards gamers for being engaged in content that they love. The concept of earning real life rewards of your choice is a pure win in my view as a gamer.”
“I am flattered to be asked to help advise P4RC as a member of its board,” said Michael Pachter. “The company is staking a claim to a meaningful opportunity with its player affinity program. I am confident that P4RC has the right team and business model to exploit this opportunity, and am honored to be able to work with them.”
“P4RC has developed an elegant solution to the complex problems of user acquisition, engagement and retention in mobile games,” said Jeffrey Lapin. “As gaming continues to shift towards free-to-play, P4RC can drive key success factors, such as increased frequency and duration of gaming sessions, both of which lead to greater revenue from ads and in-app purchases.”
