BLB issued a statement noting the variety of apps chosen by the four entrepreneurs interviewed for a recent article show that not everyone is looking for the same thing when it comes to smart phone apps, with some choosing entertainment options while others chose more business geared alternatives.
Four entrepreneurs were asked what their favorite app was for their smart phones and the answers may surprise some readers. Food Network star and restauranteur Aaron Sanchez and his wife, who is a musician, use the SongKick app to find their favorite bands while they are traveling while Hung Huynh, executive chef at Catch and season three Top Chef winner, said his favorite app is Seafood Watch, which is a free app offering information on local fresh fish, new ideas and education on sustainable seafood.
BLB notes with interest that two chefs can utilize their phones and apps in such different ways and is even more interested in the idea that executive chef Huynh's favorite app would not only be business-related, but also free, which shows him as both an eager and savvy business man.
As the executive chef, Huynh has helped raise Catch, co-owned by Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm of EMM Group, to a well-renowned level that draws both New Yorkers and celebrities to enjoy it's seafood specialities. EMM Group is well-known for high-end and trendy nightclubs and restaurants, many of which have become popular as celebrity haunts.
From music and client scheduling to games and product sourcing, entrepreneurs use many different types of apps to help run their business and to relax. In a recent article four entrepreneurs opened up about their favorite apps and how they utilize them in their day to day life.
