We are proud of the growth in our rental fleet of repurposed shipping containers and continue to assist our Central Texas neighbors with helping to simplify their operations
Austin, TX (PRWEB) January 16, 2013
Falcon Structures, an Austin, Texas based provider of repurposed shipping containers, announces their tenth anniversary celebration to take place Saturday, January 19th at the company headquarters location- Area 51.
“We are excited about this milestone for our company and we are celebrating our growth, fantastic clients and exceptional staff at our company celebration,” said Stephen Shang, Falcon Structures' CEO. Under tents on the grounds of the company headquarters, refreshments will be served and entertainment will feature a central Texas local favorite band Fred Andrews & Honey Browne.
Falcon Structures was co-founded in 2003 by CEO Stephen Shang and Brian Dieringer, VP of Sales. Shang and Dierenger both attended the University of Texas and graduated with engineering degrees in the mid 90’s. After each had taken on career paths in the fields of technology during the dot-com era, they arrived back to their homeland near Austin and began to build a business together.
What began as a single truck operation with limited staff in 2003, Falcon Structures has grown to include over 70 employees with a trucking delivery fleet of five. Inc. Magazine has recognized this growth with 2012 marking the 4th consecutive year that Falcon Structures made the impressive Inc. 5000 list of the United States' fastest growing privately held companies.
This unparalleled growth started in 2003 with the rental of repurposed shipping containers to a variety of industries in the Central Texas area. These 20 and 40-foot conex boxes, better known as Falcon Boxes, are wind and watertight and contain a secure lock box on each unit. Falcon Structures continues to serve the growing shipping container rental market in Central Texas in industries ranging from retail, film, construction and oil and gas.
“We are proud of the growth in our rental fleet of repurposed shipping containers and continue to assist our Central Texas neighbors with helping to simplify their operations,” said Shang.
Falcon Structures began modifying repurposed shipping containers as their client’s needs defined the use of these structures beyond simple secure safe storage. In 2009, Falcon Structures began working with the United States Department of Defense with a storage solution project. Military training structures using Falcon’s repurposed shipping containers grew out of this relationship. Last year marked the onset of Falcon’s tenth project in the creation of military training structures using repurposed shipping containers.
“We are proud to be a part of the training efforts here in the United States that better equip our soldiers to return home safely from combat overseas,” said Brian Dieringer, VP of Sales.
With tenure that spans a decade, clients that span a wide variety of industries and a staff that has grown in record numbers, Falcon Structures enters their eleventh year of business with excitement and vigor and a celebration on January 19, 2013 to mark this occasion.
