Pinehurst Area CVB Announces New Visitors Map Available for 2103

The new map designed by the Convention & Visitors Bureau features a variety of points of interest including accommodations, attractions, golf courses, and other important information for visitors to the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen area of North Carolina.

For those planning a group event to the area – weddings, family reunions, and/or meetings/conventions, the map may be requested to be included in welcome packets.

The Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Moore County, NC introduced a new, comprehensive map designed for visitors to use as they navigate throughout Pinehurst, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen as well as the other towns and villages of Moore County. Developed in conjunction with the county’s GIS department, the new map is color-coded and features 136 points of interest encompassing accommodations, attractions, key facilities (hospital, schools), golf courses, and other important information for the traveling public.

The maps are available at the CVB in Southern Pines on Hwy. 15-501 and are also available at local hotels, attractions and golf courses. The 4”x9” folded map fits easily into a purse and folds out to 12”x18” for easy reading. For those planning a group event to the area – weddings, family reunions, and/or meetings/conventions, the map may be requested to be included in welcome packets.

The map is a perfect complement to the other tools available to travelers from the CVB. Besides the map, the website http://www.homeofgolf.com is available and the mobile app, VisitPinehurstNC can enhance the visitor experience when researching lodging, activities, dining or calendar of events.
