The East Bay’s most popular and prestigious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament returns to Alameda, California on March 2nd, 2013. The Bay Area’s top jiu-jitsu fighters and submission wrestlers are set to descend onto Alameda High School for the 10th installment of Jiu-Jitsu By The Bay.
As competitors have come to expect, Jiu-Jitsu By The Bay 10, will feature much coveted new championship belts for all open division winners. Jiu-Jitsu By The Bay 9 saw over 1000 spectators watch 400 grappling competitors vie for medals, trophies, belts, and cash prizes. The creators of Jiu-Jitsu By The Bay expect the 10th installment of the tournament to reach even higher attendance numbers and will feature even bigger prizes for division winners.
Registration has now opened for kids, teens, women, adults, masters, and seniors divisions. Both gi and no-gi divisions are available. Jiu-Jitsu By The Bay is also the only tournament to offer a special novice division for those competitors with less than 6 months of training experience.
