Animal Costumes Shop has a very Onesie Christmas.

The nation’s favourite online animal costume retailer has announced record Christmas sales of its range of animal onesies. Animal Costumes Shop’s Kigurumi collection has been flying off the shelves in time for Christmas, thanks to a little help from some very famous celebrities.

The Rise of the Onesie

The fashion for all in one grown up baby grows started in 2010 when they first hit the High Street and today they’ve been made incredibly popular by celebrity fans like One Direction, Louis Walsh and Jessie J. Today you can find a version of the onesie in most major clothing stores but Kigurumi costumes are proving to be this festive season’s must have onesie.

Director of the Animal Costume Shop, Will Morris, recently announced that their current collection of Kigurumi costumes was proving to be their most successful yet. He commented:

“We’ve been stocking Kigurumi costumes for a long time and were one of the first companies in the UK to tap into the trend. Our animal costumes have always been popular, but since Rita Ora showed off her Kigurumi costume on twitter we can hardly keep up with the incredible amount of orders we’re getting. All I can say is I hope everyone from Kerry Catona to the Duchess of Cambridge tweets pics of themselves in Kigurumi costumes this Christmas!”

According to fashion insider Hannah George if you want to stay one step ahead of the crowd there’s only one onesie that you need to get your hands on this Christmas:

“The latest onesie trend sweeping the nation is the Kigurumi costume. Kigurumi style animal onesies have been slowly seeping into the fashion scene ever since they were a huge hit at last year’s London Comic Con. Just last month both (model) Cara Delevigne and pop princess Rita Ora tweeted proud pics of themselves dressed respectively as a Kigurumi tiger and an owl. Since then fashion forward onesie fans have been snapping up all sorts of Kigurumi costumes.”

The Animal Costume Shop Stays One Step Ahead

We asked Animal Costume Shop Director what it is that has helped the company make such a success of their Kirugumi costumes:

“Here at ACS, we pride ourselves on staying one step ahead of trends and listening to our customers so we can stock the costumes they want. We were amongst the first to sell Kigurumi costumes in the UK and our clients know that they can always rely on us to provide them with the latest designs for the best possible price – and we deliver quickly too!”

Will went on to explain that what sets his company apart is outstanding customer service:

“We’ve always understood that a loyal customer base is our bread and butter, which is why we’ve been providing a great service to Kigurumi costume fans for several years. At first we sold most of our costumes to festival goers and for comic conventions, but today, more and more people are wearing our animal onesies every day and they’ve become one of 2012’s most coveted fashion items.”

So if you want to join celebrities like Rizzle Kicks, Gwyneth Paltrow, Amy Childs and Will.i.am make sure that your festive onesie is Kigurumi style!
