At NCP we are committed to giving something back to the communities in which we operate

National Car Parks Ltd is pleased to announce that their four year partnership with The Prince’s Trust is continuing its success after raising a large amount of money over the Christmas period.
The royal charity aims to change young lives for the better, helping children and teenagers who have been in care, long term unemployed or in trouble with the law. Since 1976 The Prince’s Trust has helped over 600,000 troubled youngsters and today continues to help those without discriminating against backgrounds, characteristics, ideas and beliefs.
National Car Parks Manchester decided to help the cause by raising some more money over the festive season by manning pay machines, entries and exits. This meant that as customers used pay machines or entered or exited the car park, NCP staff were there to collect loose change for the great cause. Employees spent hours collecting at busy customer contact points not only welcoming customers and answering any questions, but encouraging small charitable donations. As always our customers were extremely generous over the Christmas period which led to staff filling twelve designated Prince’s Trust tins throughout the week, with some donations totally more than £20.
Matt Thornett, Product Manager at National Car Parks explained, "At NCP we are committed to giving something back to the communities in which we operate, especially at times of goodwill like Christmas. The Prince’s Trust carries out some extraordinary work with young people and NCP is delighted to support them not only in Manchester but across the UK. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our customers and are looking forward to raising even more throughout 2013."
