A Sportage for a sportsman seems only correct today!
Hampshire (PRWEB UK) 16 January 2013
Today, Hendy Kia received a visit from a local hero, Olympic Bronze medal-winning, James Foad. The 25 year old rowing champion won the medal in the men’s eight during the 2012 Games. James stopped by the Eastleigh dealership to collect a brand new silver Kia Sportage from Mark Busby, New Car Sales & Marketing Director.
Hendy Kia has had a long standing relationship with James Foad; its Group Sales Director, Andy Stevenson, used to row with James’s father and is keen to support the young Southampton-born talent as he progresses in his sporting career.
“James is going for gold in Rio and will be at the World Championships in South Korea later this year; we’re only too happy to lend our support in his training,” says Mark Busby. “A Sportage for a sportsman seems only correct today!”
The Sportage is on loan to James for 12 months as he makes his way to and from training over the coming year. The medal-winning sportsman will be driving one of Kia’s most popular models; the award-winning Sportage topped the latest JD Power-What Car? owner satisfaction survey and scooped the Best 4x4 title at 2012’s CarBuyer Car of the Year Awards. Kia was also crowned Best Car Manufacturer of the Year 2012 in the Which? awards.
