Jason personally gets amazing live auction items donated and brings amazing guests that are supportive and generous
Fullerton, CA (PRWEB) January 17, 2013
In 2006, Hilda Sugarman, the President of the Fullerton Technology Foundation, saw the need for technology amongst students and teachers and together with her son, Jason, created the Foundation for the Fullerton School District. The Sugarman Family Trust provided start-up funds of $250,000 to get it off on the right start. Since then, they have provided over thousands of electronic devices to students and teachers, including digital cameras, sounds systems, iPads, laptops and interactive boards.
In addition to the generous donation by the Sugarman Family Trust, Jason and his family are to this day organizing fund-raising events and bringing in supporters and sponsors to the cause.
Jason, along with Chevron, came up with the idea to do a wine auction where influential business leaders in Orange County could contribute to the live auctions. The President of the Foundation, Hilda Sugarman, stated, “Jason personally gets amazing live auction items donated and brings amazing guests that are supportive and generous.”
The 3rd annual wine auction fundraiser event will be held June 1, 2013, at the Fullerton Arboretum. For more information about the Foundation, including how to become a donor and for event listings, please visit http://www.fulltech.org.
Jason Sugarman is also the CEO of MKA Capital Advisors and involved with philanthropic equity transactions in the financial service space. In addition to serving as the CEO of the MKA Group and in boards of a number of other private companies, Jason is also the founder of many successful financial service and trading companies.
