DTI Cloud expansion, new digital advertising platform, Digital Paymeter launch and IO Intelligence acquisition highlight a year of business growth

We saw more corporate-wide agreements being signed than ever before. News media companies want enterprise grade and unified systems that deliver value across departmental lines and across the entire enterprise.

With the close of 2012, Digital Technology International (DTI™) has reported a record-breaking year of customer signings while surpassing the 10 billion milestone for total annual newspaper circulation managed through DTI Circulation around the world. The year also marked the introduction of digital solutions for advertising and paid content. In September, Digital Technology announced the acquisition of IO Intelligence Systems to meet the growing demand for business intelligence and analytics.

In 2012 Digital Technology focused on digital revenue solutions and the expansion of its award-winning cloud computing platform. The company released DTI Advertising, a completely redesigned digital advertising system and Digital Paymeter, a digital subscription solution that gives publishers control over 100% of their paid content revenue. After achieving a Cloud Computing Excellence award in January 2012, DTI Cloud continued to experience accelerated growth and now supports more than 6,100 users and 680 titles worldwide. To serve the rapidly growing customer base, the company invested in the expansion of its cloud data centers in North America and Europe.

“We achieved some major milestones in 2012. While we can literally now say ‘over 10 billion served’, we thank and appreciate each of our customers who continue to invest in DTI software and services to transform their businesses,” said Dan Paulus, president, Digital Technology International. “This past year we saw more corporate-wide agreements being signed than ever before. News media companies want enterprise grade and unified systems that deliver value across departmental lines and across the entire enterprise. That’s why we continue to invest in DTI Cloud and in technologies that focus on digital revenue expansion and cost performance.”

The industry trend toward enterprise-wide decisions was evident with several contracts including McClatchy Newspapers, McNaughton Newspapers, and Sun-Times Media Group.
