Celltick, the global leader in mobile initiated commerce, signed a partnership with Warid Telecom in Uganda. The service is named Warid MobiAds and will be completely managed by Celltick and executed using its patented LiveScreen platform.
Celltick will implement a service that caters to Warid’s consumers through an interactive and engaging mobile medium, which will allow them to easily discover a large variety of services in a user-friendly manner. The service will deliver location-based information and will allow Warid Telecom to reach its consumers in a cost effective, non-intrusive and friendly manner.

Celltick will provide a wide variety of services on Warid MobiAds, including coupons that provide economic value to the consumer, content and service discovery, as well as advertising-subsidized services. The service will focus on two major content themes: local commerce and high-value infotainment. As part of local commerce, Warid and Celltick will deliver exclusive benefits to consumers, in the form of free coupons across three major areas: Food, Fuel and Fun. As part of the infotainment, the service will provide essential information on the topics of m-health and m-education.
