Leading Residential Mortgage Provider Improves Purchasing and Inventory Management

Verian, the leader in purchasing and invoice processing systems, has signed one of the nation’s largest private mortgage insurers.

The client company provides mortgage insurance (MI) for over one million mortgages and serves lenders throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and other locations. Their MI solutions help lenders serve borrowers by making homeownership even more affordable for them.

Verian is replacing the client’s current Ketera purchasing system with cloud-based (SaaS) Purchase Manager and Inventory Manager software modules, which are both anticipated to have several hundred users. As part of the agreement, Verian is also producing several specially-configured interfaces for the leading residential mortgage provider.

For the purposes of faxing purchase orders to suppliers, Verian will use their standard connectors to leading fax server software providers to integrate with the client’s cloud-based faxing solution. Additionally, Verian will create an interface that will display inventory information within the client’s instance of Salesforce.com.

Based on identifiers in the inventory master data file, an interface will refresh in the client’s Salesforce application with information about individual items, groups or categories of the inventory based upon identifiers in Verian’s Inventory Manager’s master data file. Corresponding fulfillment requisitions will be received from the client’s application and uploaded to Verian’s Purchase Manager for processing. The requested items may be fulfilled from either inventory or a supplier purchase.
