Hollywood, Florida (PRWEB) January 18, 2013

Seminole Classic Casino, the first Native American Casino in the country, today, celebrated its grand re-opening. As part of the historic attraction’s festivities, Seminole Tribe of Florida Chairman James E. Billie, Seminole Tribe of Florida Hollywood Board Representative Christopher Osceola and Seminole Tribe of Florida Big Cypress Tribal Council Representative Manuel “Mondo” Tiger cut a ribbon to inaugurate “The Loosest Slots in America” gaming area, a selection of 29 popular slot machines guaranteed to payout the most often of their model of slots, anywhere in the country. Seminole Gaming CEO Jim Allen provided welcoming remarks and historical background of the casino while Good Times television personality Jimmie “J.J.” Walker warmed-up the crowd with Tribal and 1970s trivia.

Seminole Classic Casino also celebrated its status as South Florida’s original place to play since 1979 with a special performance by the Sugarhill Gang, vintage drink specials including Tom Collins, Old-Fashioneds, classic-priced buffets at $3.99 and a Super Bowl ticket giveaway. A 2013 Dodge Challenger, a new spin on a classic car, was also awarded to a lucky player.

“This incredible transformation will finally give our loyal players the ultimate gaming experience in the nostalgic and authentic setting that they have come to love,” said Larry Buck, general manager of Seminole Classic Casino. “Hotter titles, more table games and faster and easier ways to win big in our groundbreaking ‘The Loosest Slots in America’ room are all set in a fresh, vibrant and welcoming environment that will raise the bar for gaming in South Florida.”

Central to the casino’s renovation is an expanded gaming floor featuring more than 100 new slot machines and nine additional table games providing more than 40% more games. Triple points slots available all day/every day have been installed outside the Deli area. Games less than 90 days are designated with special toppers to draw attention to them.

“The Loosest Slots in America,” a dedicated gaming area located along the Northeast wall in front of the buffet area now features 29 hot titles including Stinkin’ Rich, Blazing Sevens, Bally’s Quick Hits and IGT’s Triple Double Diamond in denominations ranging from penny slots to $1 machines. Many of these games will offer an unprecedented 98% or higher payout rate, the highest on record in the U.S as certified by Gaming Laboratory International (GLI) the world’s leading gaming testing laboratory and technical consultancy.

“With the ‘Loosest Slots in America,’ there is no guesswork, no smoke and mirrors; just pure payout of up to $100,000, guaranteed,” said Lou Rosa, director of slots for Seminole Classic Casino. “We’ve taken an innovative approach to offer our players the simple beauty of winning – the highest payback rate ever approved for every machine payout in the room. Already home to one of the highest casino jackpots paid in the state of Florida at $1.75 million, we invite players to continue their lucky streak as we continually update the area with the newest and most exciting titles in the industry.”

“These slots offer a great value to casino players,” shared Steve Bourie, gaming expert and author of American Casino Guide, the #1 best-selling book on casinos in the U.S. “This is the only casino I know of where a slot player can get returns of 98%, or more, for playing denominations as low as a penny. Normally, paybacks that high are only offered on very high denomination slot machines such as $25 and higher."

In addition to gaming improvements, guests will notice a fresher playing environment due in part to two new HVAC units that more efficiently clean and recirculate air. The brighter and more enticing gaming floor has been revitalized with golden rule-hued paint, lushly padded modern geometric-patterned carpeting in primary shades of red, golden yellow and aqua and light ceiling tiles that brighten the former space. Outdated floor-to-ceiling data columns have been removed allowing for wider walkways and aisles between slot gaming banks. The main bar has also been resurfaced in granite to complement new earth-toned wood-grained style porcelain tile. Restrooms have also received a complete makeover with new flooring, stalls, sinks, fixtures, Dyson Airblade dryers and earth-toned glass tile accents. Along the posterior wall, players can gain insight into the history of the Seminole Tribe of Florida through an informative and artfully illustrated photo montage.

Building the foundation for its new look last year, Seminole Classic Casino upgraded and refinished a variety of structural improvements including a freshly painted facade, expanded and repaved parking lots and the installation of vivid welcome awnings. A new Special Events Pavilion designed to host a variety of exciting promotions, shows and celebrity meet and greets found a permanent home on the north side of the building, allowing for the destination’s increased visibility and presence from State Road 7 (US 441).
