According to the National Center for Education Statistics, there are more than 50 million students in the United States, but thanks to a one-day workshop, middle and high school girls who attend the event, will discover how to go from being a female to being a young woman of influence.
The one-day workshop will be held from 10 am to 4 pm Saturday at Fideles Christian School, 1390 Weber Industrial Drive, Cumming, GA
Led by speaker and author Anni Keffer, founder of http://www.annikeffer.com, and Julie Carrier, a Girls' Success Coach for the No. 1 Hit Positive Goal Setting TV Show on MTV, "MADE," the one-day workshop is specifically designed to help young women discover the secrets, how-to’s and practical tips to stand tall and become a young woman of influence.
"This one-day, interactive, fun-filled event will transform your life and future,” said Keffer, who added that her personal mission is to teach young women to discover their true inner beauty and to become a woman of influence.
Carrier, an Emmy-nominee and national speaker and award-winning author of "BeYOUtiful The Ultimate Girls to Discovering Your True Beauty, pointed out that the workshop will focus on three core principles.
The first principle, Keffer said, is Leadership and Influence.
“You'll learn the qualities and skills that it takes to stand up against peer pressure and stand out (even if you are shy) for what you believe,” Keffer said, before adding, “During the fun and interactive sessions, you will discover your passion and purpose.”
The second principle the workshop will focus on is True Self-Esteem and Confidence.
"You'll discover how to find your real beauty and inner character,” Carrier stressed. “Also, you'll discover your unique abilities. Like a snowflake, there is no one like you.”
The third principle is Dreams and Decisions.
“You'll discover the importance of having goals, dreams and aspirations and really cool tools to help you keep your eye on your amazing future, plus, the keys to making great decisions,” Keffer said.
Keffer noted that middle and high school girls will learn how to have more inner confidence, make better decisions day by day, stand up to peer pressure, seek out positive role models, stop listening to the media for their identity and image, set and achieve more goals, and understand their life’s purpose.
“Food will be provided and the cost is only $25, which can be paid online or at the door,” Keffer said. “This is an event that no middle or high school girl can miss.”
