Lancaster, Pa. (PRWEB) January 17, 2013
The Lancaster County Convention Center and Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square is pleased to announce that the upcoming Best Wedding Showcase, featuring more than 100 exhibitors, will be the biggest event of its kind for Lancaster and possibly the region.
The event will be held January 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. throughout various spaces in the integrated convention center hotel facility. Tickets are $8 via the website or at the door for attendees, who will have the opportunity to interact with some of the most creative and distinguished wedding and event-planning professionals in the Central Pennsylvania region, including planners, venues, decorators, lighting experts, musicians, florists, stylists, wedding gown designers and purveyors, pastry chefs, travel experts, limousine companies, photographers, and videographers.
Offering a magnificent setting, this event will include cake and food tastings, wine tastings, and wedding singer performances. Attendees will enter through a grand wedding ceremony entrance, progress through a couture lounge and reception hall, and then on to more than 100 exhibitors. Fashion shows will take place at 1:30 and 3:30.
Prizes valued at more than $15,000 will be given away through various drawings for brides in attendance, including a $5,000 wedding catering package from Festive Board Catering, an $1,800 laser hair removal and beautification package from CeK Beauty, a number of half-price tuxedo rentals from Central PA Tuxedos, and a $505 overnight stay with breakfast in the Presidential Suite from the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square.
“After producing a successful show at another Lancaster venue for 20 years, we had outgrown that facility and were welcomed by the Lancaster County Convention Center,” said Renee Roberts Kopp, bridal show producer for Best Wedding Showcase. “Working with their team has made the move to this venue phenomenal. We have seen an increase of interested vendors from a larger region than ever before, which we credit to their understanding that this facility has the capability to draw and serve the attendance we desire – really unlike any other venue between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh,” said Roberts Kopp.
“One of the key benefits to having such an immense consumer show like this is for variety it offers the brides. Plus, the more vendors we can attract to our show, the more we can advertise, allowing more brides to hear about the event and participate,” Roberts Kopp explained. “For those exhibitors that only participate in one bridal show per year, this gives them the most bang for their buck.”
