Greenville, SC (PRWEB) January 22, 2013
Attorney Steve Sumner of Greenville, South Carolina was recently invited by the South Carolina Bar-Continuing Legal Education Division to serve as a panelist for the discussion of recent significant appellate decisions in the field of criminal law. The seminar will take place on Friday, February 22, 2013 in Columbia, South Carolina. This program is in its twenty-second consecutive year; and is widely recognized as the leading annual continuing legal education criminal law seminar in South Carolina.
Steve Sumner is one of only three private practice criminal defense attorneys from South Carolina invited to speak at this year's program; and the only private defense attorney that will be a part of the roundtable discussion of "significant appellate decisions from 2011." The discussion will be led by the Honorable John C. Few, Chief Judge of the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
This invitation comes on the heels of Steve's recently published article, "The Current State of Confrontation," which appeared in the November 2012 edition of the "Voice for the Defense" magazine.
