Change begins with self, enabling answers
HONOLULU (PRWEB) January 22, 2013
Author SM Chung shares her uplifting personal story in an effort to empower readers to find the courage to change their own lives for the better with the publication of her new nonfiction, “It's My Choice” (published by Trafford Publishing).
Growing up, Chung often found herself wishing she had a mentor to help her make sense of the complexities of growing up; someone to discuss her different thoughts and feelings with. Left instead to figure things out on her own, Chung’s life was changed forever after she experienced an out-of-body phenomenon during a coronary angiogram.
Chung’s transformational experience during the medical procedure inspired her to embark on a journey to explore the issues that a mentor would have helped her with. “It’s My Choice” presents her findings to readers in similar situations as she seeks to share the wisdom she found with others.
An excerpt from “It’s My Choice”:
“Peace, that nebulous subjective state or experience, a human desire that places all things into perspective had come my way. I learned that peace comes from within myself, that happiness is a product of inner peace, and that inner peace comes from loving myself, not just what I perceive as the good part of me, but also what I see as the bad part – the whole of me.”
“Anger, hate, wars and dwindling economies depresses hope for our future and prevents us from thinking of solutions,” Chung writes. “Change begins with self, enabling answers.”
