St. Joe’s Offers Hearing Loss Seminar

St. Joseph Health Center and Cochlear Americas will present a free hearing loss seminar from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at St. Joseph Outpatient Surgery Center, 1934 Niles-Cortland Road NE.

St. Joseph Health Center and Cochlear Americas will present a free hearing loss seminar from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at St. Joseph Outpatient Surgery Center, 1934 Niles-Cortland Road NE.

During the seminar, physicians, audiologists and patients will discuss the Cochlear Baha System™, an implantable hearing solution and alternative to traditional hearing aids. The Cochlear Baha System™ is a bone conduction system that uses the body’s natural ability to deliver sound.

Dr. Jared Bunevich, an otolaryngologist, HMHP Physician Associates, and Chris Hasson of Cochlear Americas will lead the educational discussion.

Patients who use bone conduction systems, which are suitable for use by adults, adolescents and children, will also be in attendance.

Refreshments will be served and parking is free.
