Luxoft, a member of the IBS Group and a global provider of advanced application and product development services, today announced the opening of its delivery center in Poland, which will be the second in the country and the 19th for Luxoft world-wide. The new facility, located in Wroclaw, will offer a comprehensive portfolio of application and product development services for large enterprises and product development companies with an enhanced focus on solutions for banking and financial services industry. Poland is the fourth largest global delivery location for Luxoft, which opened its first Polish office in Krakow in 2010.
With expanding its presence in the country, Luxoft capitalized on its favorable experience at Krakow location and is now becoming one of the largest IT companies in Poland. The country’s culture and educational system complement those at other global dedicated delivery centers, and furthers Luxoft’s core culture of innovation, engineering excellence and flexibility. The new Wroclaw office is planning to hire 100 engineers in the next twelve months and the management forecasts the headcount increase to 750 specialists in the next two years.
Poland is known for its deep pool of highly-skilled IT engineers with multi-language capabilities, strategic location relative to major European cities and the region’s economic strength. The Luxoft Poland office will be headed by Wojciech Mach, who has years of business development, operation start-up, and management experience.
