Ironshore Australia announces the appointment of Ian Rouse to lead the specialty offerings in Australia for Political Risk, Political Violence, War and Terrorism.

Ironshore Australia announces the appointment of Ian Rouse to lead the specialty offerings in Australia for Political Risk, Political Violence, War and Terrorism. Ironshore Australia’s Political Risk coverage will provide highly-focused policies for Australian-domiciled entities with international exposure to political and terrorism perils. Mr. Rouse will report to David Rogers, Managing Director.

Mr. Rouse joins Ironshore from Marsh in Sydney where he oversaw the development of the Political Risk and Structured Credit business lines. Prior to Marsh, Mr. Rouse worked in Sydney for QBE, where he served as an underwriter for the Trade Credit and Political Risk business. He also was with Marsh’s Trade Credit and Political Risk division in London for more than a decade.

“Australian companies continue to expand and invest abroad, which is driving the need for protection against political perils. Ian’s vast expertise within these specialties will be instrumental in solidifying our strategy of offering innovative insurance solutions to the Australian marketplace,” said Mr. Rogers.
