Alpine transfer specialists Mountain Drop-offs has been appointed by Chamonix Mont-Blanc and Geneva Tourism & Conventions to help deliver a unique holiday package.
Already a transfer partner to Chamonix Mont-Blanc, Mountain Drop-offs has built its business on pro-active development of strategic partnerships and this latest venture is the latest step in that programme.
The destinations have collaborated to create the new four day tour which it is actively promoting to the UK travel-trade. It provides the opportunity for visitors to experience both the beauty of the Geneva lake shore and the magnificence of Mont Blanc.
The new package is based on four nights with two spent in Chamonix and two in Geneva. Hotels are four-star throughout and includes excursions such as a trip to the top of the legendary Aiguille du Midi lift in Chamonix – the world’s highest vertical ascent cable car – a cruise and entrance to the Patek Philippe Museum.
Transfer elements between Geneva Airport and Chamonix and the return to central Geneva are all being provided by Mountain Drop-offs experienced driving team.
The company operates transfers from Geneva airport to a host of resorts across the French and Swiss Alps, 365 days a year. As well as Chamonix those include Verbier, Tignes, Val d’Isère, Morzine and the Three Valleys.
“We’ve worked closely with Chamonix Mont-Blanc tourist office for the last three years and helping to create this new collaborative travel package is a natural extension of that,” explained Mountain Drop-offs Managing Director, Simon Hills.
“We’re delighted to be working with Geneva Tourism & Conventions too and hope that the package, which launched this month, proves a huge success.”
