SpeakWrite, the nation’s largest non-medical transcription service, announced today it has seen record time adoption and implementation of newly released SpeakWrite Workflow, a cloud based document workflow management tool.

SpeakWrite WorkFlow was launched in August 2012, after a beta period with select customers. The company offers a free, 30 day trial period to all new customers, and it reports today that most customers have deployed the service company wide, often across multiple locations, weeks before the pilot even ends.

“We wanted to provide our valued customers with the opportunity to see that transitioning document management to the cloud and providing secure, universal access would be simple and straightforward and above all, convenient,” said Richard Jackson, CEO of SpeakWrite. “What is amazing is that we have seen companies use the service with such ease; they do not wait for the pilot to end before transitioning their entire team to the service—we knew it was an easy implementation process and we’re delighted to see our customers embrace this valuable aspect of the service,” he added.

SpeakWrite disclosed that a California-based law firm with twelve office locations that deployed WorkFlow in October 2012, has managed on average 3,000 documents a month via the system. The firm has over 130 attorneys submitting documents and a staff of 60+ internal typists and office managers, with multiple office locations. Using WorkFlow’s online dashboard, managers and administrators can see up to the minute availability of their internal staff and instantly route work to SpeakWrite’s off-site typists, providing them with ample coverage even at nights, weekends and during holidays. The firm’s internal typists typed around one third of the jobs via WorkFlow with the remaining work completed by SpeakWrite typists.
