Wesley Glen Health Care Center is ‘Deficiency Free’ in 2012

The Ohio Department of Health investigators arrived at Wesley Glen in December, 2012, and found Wesley Glen was “Deficiency Free” in the health care area, the highest rating that is awarded.

From its inception in 1969, Wesley Glen has had an untarnished reputation for outstanding retirement community living in Central Ohio. It maintains its tradition of excellent service and a commitment to the highest quality of care as shown by the results of its most recent Ohio Department of Health survey.

Each year, the State of Ohio Department of Health sends a trained team of objective surveyors into every licensed nursing home, and they investigate quality of care by inspecting medical records and interviewing residents and staff. The Ohio Department of Health investigators arrived at Wesley Glen in December, 2012, and found Wesley Glen was “Deficiency Free” in the health care area, the highest rating that is awarded. Wesley Glen received a perfect survey score in 2010 as well, and those excellent surveys helped Wesley Glen attain a 5-Star Rating with Medicare.gov.    

The "Deficiency Free" health care survey was the culmination of an entire year of accomplishments for Wesley Glen, including the opening of its new Wellness Center in March and once again being awarded the honor of "Best Retirement Community" by CEO Magazine in its Best of Business Awards.
