BuySeasons, a leading online specialty retailer in personalized party supplies and costumes, announced today that Dev Mukherjee has been appointed CEO. Mr. Mukherjee was most recently SVP and President of Sears Holdings’ Home Appliances business for stores and online. Dan Haight - who has shepherded the growth of the company to become the leading ecommerce retailer of party supplies and costumes - will be stepping down and leaving the company in February.
Mr. Mukherjee will also be CEO of Celebrate Interactive, the holding company that includes BuySeasons, Evite – the market leader in online invitations – and Liberty Advertising. Celebrate Interactive is part of Liberty Interactive’s portfolio of ecommerce companies that includes QVC, Provide Commerce, Bodybuilding.com and Backcountry.com.

Dev Mukherjee Bio
Dev Mukherjee was previously at Sears Holdings in Hoffman Estates, IL where he ran a number of businesses, including Home Appliances, Toys, Seasonal and Outdoor Living. Prior to Sears, Mr. Mukherjee worked at IBM, Microsoft and Ingres Corporation. He has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
