PowerObjects, a professional services firm 100% focused on providing service, support, education, and add-ons for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, has just released PowerShare. This Dynamics CRM enhancement gives users the ability to create document bundles and send them to customers, as well as track who received and opened the documents.
PowerShare makes the process of bundling and sending documents easy. It features a wizard that walks the user through simple steps to create a document bundle. Users can add notes to documents or to the bundle as a whole, and each bundle is assigned a unique URL that allows a user to control access.
Other features include the ability to set expiration dates for access to documents, track whether an email was received, and check how many times the bundled was viewed. PowerShare also tracks whether a specific document was viewed, how many times, and at what time it was last viewed. Supported documents include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, as well as PDFs and images.
“Do you ever find yourself sending the same documents over and over again and never really knowing if they are read? If so, PowerShare is a huge timesaver,” says Cecilie Svensgaard, manager of the PowerPack suite of add-ons at PowerObjects. “You don’t have to search for the right documents every time, and the wizard makes it easy to tie everything together in a handy package. Plus you can do everything from one place—Dynamics CRM.”
PowerShare is one of over a dozen add-ons that PowerObjects has developed for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. They are designed to enhance functionality for marketing, sales, productivity and more. Those interested can download a free 30-day trial of PowerShare from the PowerObjects website.
