National Safe Sex Survey and Condom Education Campaign Samples Global Participants, Discovering Ways to Make Sex More Pleasurable and Safer – and Finding Top-Rated Condoms Along the Way

The vast majority of people are lost when it comes to finding the right condom for them. During our global review we aided nearly 70% of our participants in finding the right size condom which they then stated dramatically improved their pleasure.

Lucky Bloke, an online source for carefully researched and hand-selected assortments of premium international condoms and personal lubricants for global delivery, recently conducted an international condom review and safe sex initiative they call “Mission: Great Sex!”

The global condom review sampled 1,100 participants across 21 countries and released its first round of findings in December 2012. Condoms included in the first round of consumer sampling included variations such as: Okamoto, GLYDE, ONE, RFSU, Billy Boy, Durex, and TROJAN condoms.

Lucky Bloke extended its findings with a second round of sampling of LifeStyles Condoms. Male and female participants of varying age demographic, relationship status, and sexual orientation were able to test and review a select few of LifeStyles most popular condoms styles including SKYN Large and 3SUM based on personal size requirements and preferences in exchange for brutally honest feedback.

After wrapping the first round of the the global condom review, Lucky Bloke uncovered that simply educating and giving consumers access to the proper size, premium condoms – mixed with quite a bit of personal exploration – led to increased interest in condom use. In fact:

  • 96% of participants stated the condom review improved their opinion of and

relationship to condoms

  • 97% stated they were introduced to brands they'd never heard – which led

to them finding their favorite condom

  • 86% of participants stated that exploring different condoms improved and

added adventure to their sex life

  • 68% learned that they were using the wrong size condom - and found that

using the correct size dramatically improved their pleasure and;

  • 94% of participants stated they would recommend exploring different

condoms to their friends.

During the second round of the Global Condom Study participants sampled LifeStyles SKYN Large, the first larger premium condom made from polyisoprene – a scientifically formulated non-latex material that delivers ultimate sensitivity. 62% of participants found it more comfortable than average, and over one-fourth of participants thought it felt surprisingly thin.

The condom survey also found that 84% of participants believed SKYN Large was “neither too tight nor too loose” after sampling. Lucky Bloke founder, Melissa White, believes this piece of data exemplifies one of her most important goals while conducting this review – helping consumers find the right size condom in order to increase pleasure and safety during sex.

“The vast majority of people are completely lost when it comes to finding the right condom for them – something so important and mainstream to their sexual health and yet they have no idea where to start,” said Melissa White, founder of Lucky Bloke. “You wouldn’t continue to buy and wear the wrong size shoe. And yet people continue buying and wearing the wrong size condoms because they have never been taught differently. During our global condom review we helped nearly 70% of our participants realize they were not wearing the right size condom which, in turn, dramatically improved their pleasure and safety with condoms. This is one of the most important findings that made our Global Condom Initiative a success.”

Second round survey findings specific to LifeStyles Condoms also uncovered that 89% were pleased with the new LifeStyles Condoms they were able to sample, and 58% of all participants were introduced to one or more new “favorite” LifeStyles condom variety.

The wealth of information gained through both rounds of Lucky Bloke's Global Condom Review led White to create, an e-Commerce experience optimized for making it as easy as possible for condom users to find their perfect condom pleasure match. At, it is now easier than ever for consumers to discover condoms that offer ultimate pleasure based on personal preferences.
