Author Andrew Brent delightfully pens an unconventional and enthralling narrative that comprises different, exciting and provocative topics of poems and graphic arts with a mixture of some hilarious and comedic anecdotes in Intellect, Sex, Politics...and more. This anthology expresses Brent’s detailed and daring introspection about love, sex and life as a whole.
This book is not a novel one reads from the beginning to the end. It is a series of essays on contemporary subjects derived from a popular theme like intimacy between sexes to a sublime idea of the entropy of civilizations. The text is interspaced with a few short poems or verses, a few illustrations and some jokes to lighten the mood. The essays do not stray from controversy. Just the opposite, most of them could be qualified as politically incorrect. The author subscribes to the view that political correctness is a scourge of the times and that it was forced upon the people for somebody’s benefit and/or protection.
Intellect, Sex, Politics...and more is a book that offers honest, simple and vibrant narratives that will surely entertain and paint big smiles and laughter on readers’ faces. It offers a different take on life as an enjoyable roller-coaster ride that one will surely enjoy and have fun. It inspires and at the same, makes readers realize that life is indeed full of many unexplainable yet peculiar moments that are worth remembering and reminiscing.
