The 2013 European GIA Conference will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, between Monday, May 13, and Wednesday, May 15, this year. Held annually for the past three years, this is the seventh GIA Conference and the first to be held in Germany.
Organized by Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA), the Conference excludes external vendors, and focuses solely on education about best practice sharing and intelligence development, and provides extensive networking opportunities. It is designed for senior executives as well as analysts responsible for market intelligence, strategy planning and business development. Past attendees have rated the past six conferences an average of 4.7 out of the highest score of five, with 100 percent of the participants saying that they would recommend the Conference to others.
This year, for the first time ever, the organizers will offer a number of free 20-minute consultative sessions with senior consultants for participants to openly discuss one of their key challenges. This bonus feature was introduced in response to demand for deeper discussions on individual intelligence topics with intelligence experts.

Confirmed speakers so far include market intelligence experts from Allianz SE, Belgacom Group, Cintas, Cisco Systems, Inc., Leica Microsystems, Philips, MCB, Linde Hydraulics and Royal DSM.
