In Child Sexual Abuse: A Silent Epidemic, Mrs. Christianah Akindolie, by virtue of her experience ministering to victims of child abuse, discloses the terrible details of a society-wide social disease.

Many adults are ignorant of the fact that every child is vulnerable to this social canker and that they are expected to be protectors of the victims. Yet, society itself often turns a blind eye to symptoms of abuse – and adults are the first one to do so in the process of neglect that feeds the fires of sexual victimisation and oppression. It is time for the truth to come out, and Christianah Akindolie is well-placed to write about it, with church cachet and hands-on experience to make the exposure clear and detailed.

This book, as is obvious, provides firsthand information to anyone who wants to know about child sexual abuse. Readers will find all they want to know about this tragedy of culture in Akindolie’s book, where true life stories to bring to bear the realities of child sexual abuse. In God’s kingdom, it is every Christian’s duty to protect the least of their brethren. This book helps in disseminating knowledge about the disease and how it may be prevented.

This book will be featured at the 2013 London Book Fair in London, England, on April 15 – 17, 2013
