Romantic New Novel Tells Story of Love and Friendship for Two Different Reasons.

On their wedding ceremony, Sam Sheppard knows that there is no turning back now. She must kiss Luke Russo, her best friend. She would have bolted out of the door if she hadn’t remembered why she agrees to marry him. Sam begins to accept the fact that she will have to marry Luke for his money. And Luke has his own reasons too in marrying Sam.

"If I take That Chance," a fictional romantic tale written by Sherly Susan that tells the story of two best friends who were forced to marry each other for two different reasons. Luke wanted to save the job of his father, Tony in the family business being managed by grandfather, Mr. Russo Sr. whom they call Pops. Luke told Pops that he is willing to go back in his old job in the company as long as Tony also keeps his job. Pops accepted Luke’s offer on one condition. Luke will have to marry Sam, his best friend whom Pops thought was Luke’s girlfriend.

On the other hand, Sam wanted to help her financially troubled mother who has been struggling with mortgage finances and taking care of her dad’s medical expenses. She knows that if she decides to marry Luke, she will spare her mother of all the financial problems that continue to beset their family. Sam was given a choice and clearly, she chooses to marry Luke for the money above anything else. However, is money the only reason why Sam agrees to marry Luke? Will true love develop with such kind of a set up? Is it just a simple game that the best friends will have to play? Will their marriage end up in divorce or will they both live happily ever after?

"If I take That Chance" will take readers into an exciting, romantic, whirlwind of a journey between two best friends who haven’t realized for themselves what true love really means until an uncompromising situation made them to discover and express what and how they truly feel for each other.

About the Author
Sherly Susan was born in Indonesia and migrated to Australia in 1999. She always loves to write ever since she was young but is too shy to show her works to anyone. She used the back side of her study note to write her stories and hide them from her friends and family. She was struggling with her very limited experience and lack of support. She finally buried her passion to become an author for more than twenty years until one day, she convinced herself to start writing again and this time in English. She finished her first novel in a month and didn’t stop writing since then. She loves romance and fairy tales, and she doesn’t believe in sad endings. She now lives in Sydney as a photographer with her husband and two beagles. She never stops thanking herself for taking the first step: picked up her laptop and typed the first word.
