Prospective students and members of the community will have an opportunity to interact with faculty and learn first-hand about Extended Learning degrees and certificate programs during a February open house at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM). The free public open house will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23 at the McMahan House on the CSUSM main campus.
“For the past year, Extended Learning has been expanding its offerings, and we are excited to showcase our new programs and courses for current and prospective students,” says Mike Schroder, dean of Extended Learning.
CSUSM Extended Learning offers programs for students looking to change or advance their current career or simply explore personal interests. Available programs, certificates, and degree offerings include:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration;
- Master of Public Health (Fall 2013);
- RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing;
- Master of Arts in Education, Literacy;
- Digital Arts Certificate;
- Human Resources Certificate;
- Meeting and Event Planning Certificate;
- and many more.
The open house also will provide attendees with an opportunity to speak with academic advisors and financial aid officers, who will be on hand to answer questions. The CSUSM mascot, Crash the Cougar, will be present to provide entertainment and add a special spark to the celebration. Refreshments will be served, and parking is free. No reservations are required for the event.
