December 19th proved to be a demanding day for Excela Creative. The specialty web agency, known for its expertise in building high traffic web sales platforms for brands debuting on national morning shows’ secret deal segments, prepped and built sites for 12 brands slated for Good Morning America’s ‘Mega Deals’ Holiday edition and for Today Show’s “Jill’s Steals and Deals.” It was the highest number of sites the agency managed in a single day for the holiday season, resulting in over 13,000 orders.
“As the holidays quickly approached, our official project board filled up to the point that we had to bring an old white board out of retirement,” said Michael Henderson, creative liaison at Excela Creative. “Typically a busy week would consist of seven to ten sites, so it was definitely a demanding week for us with twelve sites on the roster.”
One caveat of each brand featured on Good Morning America’s Mega Deals extravaganza was Christmas Eve delivery. For the first time, Excela Creative developed a two-option shipping selection at checkout—one for guaranteed Christmas Eve delivery and another for standard shipping. Featured brands included Aquaswiss watches, Thursday Friday and Sorial totes, Julep nail polish gift set, Giando Massi totes and Nissa Jewelry.
Excela Creative produced high-traffic e-Commerce sites for hundreds of brands that debuted on “Deals and Steals” and “Steals and Deals” for the past two years. Each site has been proven to perform impeccably, eliminating the risk of site outages and providing a seamless shopping experience for customers.
