Eye Street’s program and project management staff managed the redesign as well as the migration of m.fema.gov to a Department of Homeland Security cloud-hosted Drupal environment. This is the fourth FEMA website Eye Street has migrated to Drupal.

“This was a comprehensive effort to make it easy for FEMA to the manage information and for users to access the information they need and want from FEMA on mobile devices,” said Richard Reinhardt, manager for the project. “This is what Eye Street does. We help customers make information available to their audiences however and wherever they want it.”

Some of the highlights of the new mobile site include:

•     Enhanced graphic display for an improved user experience on smart phone devices, while offering a "text only" version for older mobile devices
•     Images displayed via an image carousel with links to take the user directly to featured content
•     Emergency notification bar for communicating critical emergency information
•     Increased amount of user information presented in a mobile friendly manner in both English and Spanish languages
•     Accordion menus to provide quick access to disaster information
•     Enhanced search capability using USASearch
