GoAbroad.com is thrilled to announce that the 2013 Innovation Awards nomination form is now open! The form will be open for submissions though Sunday, April 7, 2013 and GoAbroad encourages individuals, organizations, and institutions to begin submitting nominations for these prestigious awards.

The GoAbroad Innovation Awards were launched in 2011, honoring institutions, organizations, and individuals in international educational during the GoAbroad reception at the annual NAFSA conference. These awards recognize and celebrate those who are creating initiatives to move the field forward and commend leaders in the community for their efforts to go beyond the conventional. GoAbroad can’t wait to see what the 2013 awards will bring!

Nominations are evaluated and winners are chosen by a selective group of international education professionals known as the GoAbroad Innovations Academy. Individuals may nominate their own or another organization/institution, as well as other individuals for an Innovation Award.

The 2013 GoAbroad Innovation Award categories are:

1. INNOVATION IN MARKETING/SOCIAL MEDIA
2. INNOVATIVE NEW PROGRAM
3. INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
4. INNOVATION IN SUSTAINABILITY
5. INNOVATION IN ACCESS & EQUITY
6. INNOVATIVE STUDENT VIDEO
7. PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD - International Education Organizations
